In 2007 two life long shooters married and combined their experiences into Good Shooting Sales and Service, Inc. Their passion for the shooting sports inspired the company.
James Severin began shooting at the age of 13 and spent his youth shooting Running Target, Pistol and Shotgun. Sporting Clays and Sportsmans Team Challenge have been his calling in most recent years and he holds many titles. James has coached junior and adult shooters in Missouri for several years.
Cathy Winstead-Severin started in a BB gun program at age 7, she also shot Running Target and now focuses primarily in Silhouette. She won her first National Smallbore Silhouette title in 1998. She earned a degree in marketing and worked for Zanders Sporting Goods, prior to embarking on their business journey.
Both see the vast importance of promoting the youth in the sport. In the product line you will see many products that have been used by Montana junior shooters for years. Most, invented by Chris Winstead, encompass unique features that truly help the young athletes as well as their coaches.
